The current promotion runs from August 5 through September 25, 2026. Members who purchase at least 5,000 Hilton Honors points in a single transaction will receive a 100% bonus, reducing the purchase price to 0.5 US cents per point before Canadian sales tax.
During this promotion, members can purchase up to 300,000 points, allowing them to receive as many as 600,000 Hilton Honors points for $3,000 USD before tax.
Purchases are processed in US dollars through Points.com. Canadian residents are charged GST/HST, while Quebec residents are also charged QST, increasing the effective cost per point. For example, an Ontario resident paying 13% HST would effectively pay approximately 0.565 US cents per point.
All purchases are non-refundable, purchased points do not count toward Hilton Honors elite status, and Hilton states that points should post within 48 hours of the completed transaction.

Is Buying Hilton Honors Points Worth It?
Hilton points are generally valued at around 0.5 US cents each, which means buying them during a 100% bonus promotion puts you around that valuation before accounting for Canadian sales tax.

Considerations Before You Buy
Hilton Honors points do not have a published award chart, so redemption costs can change at any time. There have been multiple devaluations over the past year. If you buy a large block of points speculatively with no specific stay in mind, you are accepting that risk.
Points expire after 24 months of inactivity, though any earning or redemption activity resets the clock. All purchases are non-refundable. Points purchased during a promotion do not count toward elite tier qualification.
