Hilton has launched its More Nights, More Points promotion for summer 2026, offering up to 4,000 bonus points on every qualifying stay between June 1 and August 15. We register for every Hilton promotion like this one. The points do not change which hotels we choose or how we travel, but they add up over time and registration costs nothing. If you have a Hilton stay coming up this summer, here is what you need to know.
How the Hilton More Nights, More Points Promotion Works
The structure is simple. Stays of one to three nights earn 2,000 bonus points. Stays of four nights or more earn 4,000 bonus points. The promotion applies to any hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio and there is no cap on how many times you can earn, so each qualifying stay during the promotion period counts separately.
The bonus points sit on top of your regular base earning and any elite status bonus. A Gold member staying four nights at a standard Hilton property still earns their usual 18 points per dollar on eligible spend, plus the 4,000 bonus points on top. The promotion adds to your normal earning rather than replacing it.
Reward stays also qualify. If you are using Hilton Honors points to pay for a stay this summer, the bonus still applies. That is worth knowing if you have a redemption already planned between June 1 and August 15.
You Must Register First
You need to register at HiltonHonors.com/MoreNightsMorePoints before completing a stay within the promotion period. Hilton will not apply the bonus retroactively if you forget to register first. If you have a stay coming up in early June, register now.
How Hilton Defines a Stay
Hilton defines a stay as the total number of consecutive nights at the same property, regardless of whether you check out and check back in during that period. A five-night trip at one hotel counts as a single stay, not multiple stays. That is worth keeping in mind if you are close to the four-night threshold for the higher bonus tier.
Are the Bonus Points Actually Worth Anything?
At roughly 0.5 cents US per Hilton point, 4,000 bonus points works out to around $20 US toward a future stay. That is not going to move the needle on a single trip, and we would never recommend choosing a Hilton property over something better suited to your travel just to chase a promotion like this. That is not what it is designed for.
Where it matters is the cumulative effect. If you have two or three Hilton stays planned this summer, the bonus points from each one add up toward a future free night. Mid-tier Hilton properties can be redeemed for as few as 20,000 to 40,000 points per night during off-peak periods. We booked Hotel Preko on Ugljan Island in Croatia at 60,000 points per night, which is exactly the kind of redemption a summer of bonus points helps fund. A summer of regular travel can meaningfully close the gap on something similar.
Bonus Points Do Not Count Toward Elite Status
The bonus points do not count toward elite tier qualification. Night and stay counts drive status progress and this promotion does not affect either. The points post to your balance and are available for redemptions, but they will not help you reach Gold or Diamond faster.
When Do the Bonus Points Post to Your Account?
Hilton states that bonus points may take six to eight weeks to post after your stay is completed. A stay in mid-August could mean the points do not appear until October. In our experience these promotion points tend to post well before that, but it is worth keeping in mind if you are counting on the balance for a specific upcoming redemption.
