Flying Blue has released its June 2026 Promo Rewards, offering 25% off award flights on select Air France and KLM routes. This month’s list includes discounted economy flights between Europe and North America starting at 18,750 Miles one way, along with a handful of premium economy and business class deals.
At first glance, a 25% discount sounds compelling. However, as is often the case with Flying Blue, the value depends as much on the fees as it does on the mileage price.
The most interesting development this month is the growing number of routes restricted to Flying Blue Extra subscribers. Several North American destinations, including Toronto, Chicago, and Washington, are only available through Flying Blue’s paid subscription program.
What Are Flying Blue Promo Rewards?
Flying Blue Promo Rewards are monthly discounted award tickets offered by Air France and KLM. Rather than reducing cash fares, Flying Blue discounts the number of Miles required for specific routes and cabins.
For June 2026, the discount is 25% off standard saver pricing. That reduces the typical transatlantic award rates to:
- Economy: 18,750 Miles one way
- Premium Economy: 30,000 Miles one way
- Business Class: 45,000 Miles one way
All Promo Rewards must be booked by June 30, 2026, although travel can occur up to 30 November 2026.
Flying Blue Extra Routes Continue to Expand
A growing portion of this month’s list is reserved for Flying Blue Extra subscribers. Flying Blue Extra is a paid membership program that starts at €379 per year and provides access to additional Promo Rewards inventory. While the program may make sense for frequent Flying Blue users, most Canadian travellers are unlikely to subscribe solely for access to these awards.

June 2026 Long-Haul Awards
Standard Flying Blue rates start at 25,000 Miles one-way in economy, 40,000 in premium economy, and 60,000 in business class for transatlantic routes. The 25% discount brings those to 18,750, 30,000, and 45,000 Miles respectively.
All routes are available in both directions. Air France routes connect through Paris CDG; KLM routes through Amsterdam AMS. Connections beyond the hub within Europe are permitted on both carriers.

Is This Worth Booking
The 25% discount on Flying Blue Promo Rewards is worth a look, especially if you can find economy awards between Europe and North America for just 18,750 Miles one-way. A route like Seattle to Athens at that price can represent excellent value, particularly when compared to distance-based programs such as British Airways Avios.
The issue, as always, is the fees. Flying Blue still passes on significant taxes and carrier-imposed surcharges on Air France and KLM awards. That’s where a lot of the value gets lost. For example, economy between Toronto and Paris still runs around $224 CAD in fees one-way, while business class can push past $500 CAD each way.
At that point, the value really depends on what you are comparing it to. In some cases, programs like Iberia Plus or other Aeroplan options can deliver similar transatlantic business class flights with much lower cash costs, even if the mileage price is higher. Availability is the other limitation. Promo Rewards pricing is capacity-controlled, and just because a route is on the list does not mean you will actually find seats at that price on your preferred dates. Flexibility usually matters more than anything else here.
For most people, the best use of this month’s Promo Rewards is economy flights between Europe and North America at 18,750 Miles one-way. That is the most consistently useful value on the list.
Business class is more hit and miss. Routes like Panama City, Abidjan, and Lomé can still make sense, especially where there are fewer competing programs, but once you factor in the fees, the value is not as strong as it first looks.
Overall, June’s Promo Rewards are worth a look if you already collect Flying Blue Miles or can transfer points in easily. Just focus on the total cost of the booking, not just the discounted mileage price.
