Flying Blue has released its July 2026 Promo Rewards, and this is a stronger month for Canadians than June was. Toronto and Montreal are both available to all members at 18,750 Miles in economy on KLM to Europe. Los Angeles and Chicago come in at 30,000 Miles in premium economy, and New York is bookable in business class at 45,000 Miles. All awards must be booked by July 31, 2026, with travel available through December 31, 2026.

What Are Flying Blue Promo Rewards?
Flying Blue Promo Rewards are monthly discounted award tickets offered by Air France and KLM. Rather than reducing cash fares, Flying Blue discounts the number of Miles required for specific routes and cabins.
For July 2026, the discount is 25% off standard saver pricing. That reduces the typical transatlantic award rates to:
Economy: 18,750 Miles one way
Premium Economy: 30,000 Miles one way
Business Class: 45,000 Miles one way
All Promo Rewards must be booked by July 31, 2026, although travel can occur through December 31, 2026.
Flying Blue Extra Routes
As usual a portion of this month’s list is reserved for Flying Blue Extra subscribers. Flying Blue Extra is a paid membership program that starts at €379 per year and provides access to additional Promo Rewards inventory. While the program may make sense for frequent Flying Blue users, most Canadians are unlikely to subscribe solely for access to these awards.
Notable Extra-only routes this month include Atlanta to Europe in economy at 18,750 Miles, Ottawa to Europe in economy at 18,750 Miles, Rio de Janeiro to Europe in business class at 63,750 Miles, Bangkok to Europe in business class at 63,750 Miles, and a range of premium economy routes to Mauritius, Antananarivo, Santiago de Chile, Johannesburg, and Bangalore from 37,500 Miles.
If you are not a Flying Blue Extra subscriber, these awards will not be available when searching.

July 2026 Long-Haul Awards
Standard Flying Blue rates start at 25,000 Miles one way in economy, 40,000 in premium economy, and 60,000 in business class for most transatlantic routes. The 25% discount brings those to 18,750, 30,000, and 63,750 Miles respectively. New York is an exception, where standard business class pricing starts at 60,000 Miles and the discounted rate comes in at 45,000 Miles.
All routes are available in both directions. Air France routes connect through Paris CDG; KLM routes through Amsterdam AMS. Connections beyond the hub within Europe are permitted on both carriers.

Is This Worth Booking
July is a stronger month for Canadian members than June was. Toronto at 18,750 Miles in economy is available to all members this month, where in June it was locked behind the Extra subscription. Montreal appears on the list for all members at the same price. Ottawa is new as well but sits behind the Extra paywall. If you have been waiting for a straightforward economy award between Canada and Europe without a paid membership, this month is worth a look.
The fees remain the same problem they always are. Flying Blue passes on significant carrier-imposed surcharges on Air France and KLM awards, and Promo Rewards pricing does not change that. Economy between Canada and Europe will still run roughly $200 to $250 CAD in fees each way. Business class pushes past $500 CAD each way. The mileage discount is a real savings but the total cost of the booking is what matters, and programs like Iberia Plus can often deliver transatlantic business class with considerably lower cash costs even at a higher mileage price. See how Flying Blue compares to other programs for business class in our cheapest business class to Europe from Canada guide.
New York business class at 45,000 Miles one way is worth noting. JFK to Europe prices at 60,000 Miles under standard Flying Blue rates, so the 25% Promo discount brings it down to 45,000. That is a reasonable price for transatlantic business class if you can find availability on dates that work.
The premium economy selection is more extensive than usual this month. Los Angeles and Chicago come in at 30,000 Miles for all members, and a long list of routes to Asia, South America, and the Indian Ocean region come in at 37,500 Miles. For anyone sitting on Flying Blue Miles and considering a longer trip, the premium economy pricing to destinations like Singapore, Seoul, or Lima represents solid value against cash fares in that cabin.
Availability is always capacity-controlled. We did a quick check on the New York business class route and found fewer than 20 dates with Promo Rewards availability across the entire travel window through December 31. A route appearing on this list does not mean seats are available at Promo Rewards pricing on any given date. Flexibility on dates matters more than anything else when searching.
For most people, the clearest value this month is economy between Canada and Europe at 18,750 Miles one way. The addition of Montreal and the opening of Toronto to all members make July a better month for Canadian bookings than June was.
All awards must be booked by July 31, 2026. See the official terms on the Flying Blue rewards page.
